Friends, do IB, and dont slack off in high school as you can get lots of useful credits. The professors are very helpful here and highly experienced in their field…and this makes all the difference!!

I had to take up SATs, where I did not attend any classes or prepare for it. Just turned up for the exam. I did require a VISA, but the interview itself was very short and easy. The hard part was running around getting documents and application ready. Tickets was hard, as flights were booked really fast, and there was no student prices. I flew EVA air and landed at Hartsfield-Jackson airport, after lay overs at Taipei and LA. Really nice flight, and convenient to get to institution. Baggage rules were two bags, just 30 kg each. Immigration issues, nothing serious, just the usual checking. No meet and greet.

Very happy with the program, and although there is room for improvement of professors, they are always helpful and ready to help. Lecture halls are good, always easy to hear professors even from back of the room. And easy to see board. Library is just awesome, open 24 hours.

Living in a freshman dorm, on campus. It was a lot better than expected and there isn’t anything broken. Sports facilities is world-class, cant get any better. Not easy to get part time jobs either. Social scene is dull and boring. Parties here all horrible. Weather is weird, switches between hot and cold really suddenly. Plenty of international student societies and lots of opportunities for leadership positions.

We have a very good academic advising committee. International students can get good jobs. Do not know how campus placement process functions, but it is in place. Not too many global organizations come for career fairs, but plenty of local ones. We already have an OPT, but no clue more than that. There is alumni society, a very active one.
